She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Proske and Lucylle Proske; her former husbands, Reuben Welch and Garvin Germany, Jr.; and her sons, Donnie Welch and Gary Allen Welch.

She is survived by: her brother Billy Proske; her children, Kenneth Welch, Darryl Welch (Ilse), Carol Welch-Krueger, Cindy Beswick (Tom) and Terri Germany (Michael Denton); and her spouse Baptist. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
