He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Beatrice McDaniel (Caples); his stepmother Terri Diann Conner; and his grandparents, Kenneth, Carolyn McDaniel, Noah Caples and Wilcie Henry.

He is survived by: his father Kenneth Reed McDaniel, Jr. (Lucy); his siblings, Kenneth McDaniel III (Wensdi), Jason Connor, Chelsea Conner Medrano, Amber Conner, Chase Conner, Wyatt Cox and Brody Cox; his siblings' children, Makaela McDaniel, Sophia McDaniel, Steven Lovell, Emma Moore, Blane Conner, Kyrstin Conner, Amberlynn Kimich and Jade Austin; his stepgrandmother Judy Cox; his grandparents, Debbie and Jimmy Haliburton; his uncles, John Terry McDaniel (Joy) and Melvin Wesley McDaniel (Lois); his aunt Connie Kimich (Buff); and his close friend Debbie (Andy Midgley).
