She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Jean Howard and Adam Crookshank; her brothers, William J. Howard and Oscar J. Johnson, Jr.; and her nephew Oscar J. Scurry.

She is survived by: her husband Felix Cross; her sister Della Scurry-Justice of La Marque; her children, Michael Crookshank, Sr. of La Marque, Jaqueline R. Pomier of Karnack, James Pomier (Judy) of League City, Germaine Y. Morgan (Steve) of Baytown and Greg Cross (Sabrena) of Spring; her grandchildren, Timothy Robinson, Angie, Ernest, Michael, Clint, James Crookshank, Christopher Rellford Jr., Brianne Tanner, Andrew, Ryan, Jordan Pomier of Kenneth Linthicum, JR., Savon Hill, Marquis Pomier, Keva and Kevante Cross; and her great grandchildren, Zyriah Rellford, Cayden Johnson, Bianca, Kingston Baca, Savannah Holmes, Zayden Cross and Khy'Ri Linthicum. She is also survived by Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews.

The family requests that in-lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or Texas Kidney Foundation.
