We announce the death of Roberto Banda (Angleton, Texas), born in Yorktown, Texas, who passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ventura Banda and Maria Silgero Banda; and his siblings, John Banda and Eva Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Banda; his daughter Tina Garza; his grandchildren, Bryanna Perez, Christina Madrigal (John), Robert Garza (Montse), Zachary Garza and Andrew Garza; his great grandchildren, John Jr., Eli, Luke Madrigal, Delilah Lemons-Garza, Ezekiel Garcia, Isaiah Garcia, Elijah Garcia, Bode and Sawyer Garza; and his brothers, Ray Banda (Ava), Tony Banda (Sandy) and Richard Banda (Mistie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
