He is survived by: his wife Gloria Garza; his children, Tomas, Robert, Jr. (Jeannette), Belinda Brieger (Mike), Criselda Dewesee (Billy) and Christina Henry (James); and his siblings, Francisco Jr., Pablo, Amado, Oscar, Raul, Sofia Mares, Eloisa Guerra and Carolina Zamora. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
