He is survived by: his wife Katherine Diane Dickey; his children, Christy Twichell (Whitney) of Lawton and Walt Dickey (Ursula) of Harker Heights, Texas; his grandchildren, Samuel Walton Dickey of Austin, Danielle Lee Stouder (Clay) of China Spring, Dillon Allen McDaniel (Sydney) of Lubbock, Shane Youngerman of Austin, Texas, Kai Youngerman of Austin, Texas and Katie Pirtle of Austin, Texas; and his siblings, James Dickey, Jr. (Patricia) of Potomac, Paul Dickey (Linda) of Arp, Raymond Milsap (Tres) of Springhill, Florida, Debbie Trammell (Eddy) of Coldspring and Joyce Dickey of Bessemer, Alabama. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
