We are sad to announce that, on November 25, 2025, at the age of 99, Davis Rc of Apple Springs, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Davis (Nash) and Ernest Clayton Davis; his wife Lona Kennedy of Groveton; his grandson Richard W. Gresham; his great grandchildren, Richard Gresham (Rickie), Laker Banks and Roberta Gresham; and his brothers-in-law, James King, Mike White, Frank O'Quin, Omer Kennedy and Raymond Kennedy.

He is survived by: his family, Calvary Baptist Church, Nogalus Prairie and Oaklawn Baptist Church; his children, Kathy James of Rosenburg, Joan (Tonie Ragland) of Nogalus Prairie, Rebecca (Duron Thorne) of Centerville, Karen Miller of Seymour and Gerald Davis of Nogalus Prairie; his sisters, Lois Marie O'Guin of Lufkin and Marlene White of Nogalus Prairie; his grandchildren, Debi Gresham of Rosenburg, Oregon, Roger Gresham of Palmetto Bay, Florida, Kevin (Pam Ragland) of Alto, Sharon (Wesley Mosley) of Brookeland, Gerald (Julie Davis) of Lufkin, Rhonda Green of Lufkin, Rob (Darlene Thorne) of Centerville, Mandie (Rudy Salaiz) of Lufkin, Krystal (Larry Brown) of Seymour and Dustin (Abby Banks) of Ozark, Missouri.; and his great grandchildren, Joe Young, Josh Young, Rudy Salaiz, Travis Thorne, Walker Thorne, David Hammer, Felix Cantrell, Koi Banks, Colton Lincoln and Rory Banks.
