He is survived by: his wife Teresa May of Apple Springs; his sons, Brian May (Alisha) of Apple Springs and Justin May (Shae) of Apple Springs; his grandchildren, Logan May (Malerie Duke), Violet May, Victoria May, Addison Dwire, Madison Dwire, Colt May, Chase Legg and Ryan Legg; his great grandchild Westyn Legg; his niece Julie May; his great-niece Destanie Walters; his parents-in-law, Dewey and Ruth Ashworth; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Pharris (Gene), Cheryl Sterret (Bobby), Charlie Ashworth and Mark Ashworth (April). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Groveton Funeral Home (1019 W 1st St, Groveton, TX 75845). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Cemetery (749 Moore Cemetery Rd, Groveton, TX 75845).
