He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Chapman (Schedcik) and Lyman Chapman; his wife Elva Chapman; his children, Linda Collins, Rick Chapman, Gary Chapman and Donnie Chapman; and his sister Kathryn Bland.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marian MacLeod, Betty Folkner and Evelyn Morgan; and his grandchildren, David Collins and Shawn Reiser. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
