He is survived by: his children, Paula Cardona, Jeannette Butt (Phil), Sandra Ackerman and John Ackerman (Brenda); his grandchildren, Brandon Cardona (Lacey), Dana Braunsberg (Kyle), Jessica Guzman (Frankie), Augustine Ackerman, Krystall Bostick (Zebadiah), Jazzmen Adame of Vanessa Ackerman, J. J, Ethan Ackerman and Dallas Kirtland; and his sister Virginia Slichter (Charles). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
