He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tieszen and Dorothy Tieszen; his stepparents, Betty Tieszen and Clint Linn; and his brother James Tieszen.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Behen (Patti); his brother Dwayne (Mickey); his children, Jennifer (Matt) of Flower Mound, Sheridan (David) of Key Largo, Florida and Jeff (Paige) of Fort Worth, Texas; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Brenna, Noah, Drew, Jessica and Kyle. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Folds of Honor Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.
