He is survived by: his friends, Joe Eddie and Kenneth "Lily Pad" Allen; his wife Ruth Anderton (McKissack); his children, Robert "Mitchell" Anderton (Gloria) and Amy Nuel Anderton (Johnny); his sister Linda Bracken (Anderton); his sister-in-law Rita McKissack; and his grandchildren, Mark Robert Anthony McSpadden and Alina Nuel Robin McSpadden.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Et Restland Funeral Home (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75081). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Restland Funeral Home - Wildwood Chapel (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75081). An entombment will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Chapel Garden II Mausoleum (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75081).
