With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julius Johnnie Rebecek of Argyle, Texas, who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herman Rebecek and Annie Rose Gast Rebecek; his wife Owassa Skeen of Clovis; his siblings, Robert Rebecek and Ann; his brothers-in-law, Raymond Gorbach and George Scherlin; and his granddaughter Jordan Dodson.
He is survived by: his children, Oompa, Jordan, Levi, Jacob, Lily, Joshua, Jillian, Lindsey, Julianna, Briley, Tiffanie Dodson (Craig), Christopher Rebecek (Sally) and Brian Rebecek; his sisters, Margaret Scherlin and Agnes Leopold (Jackson); his grandchildren, Levi Thomas (Hope), Jacob Dodson (Ashley Murray), Lily Rebecek (Brandon Zubko), Joshua Rebecek (Jerri Davis), Jillian Dodson, Lindsey Rebecek and Julianna Rebecek; his great grandchild Briley Thomas; Pat and Mel Cockrell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Donations can be made in John Rebecek's memory to his beloved church, St Mark Catholic Church in Argyle, Texas.
