She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Hester (Wilson) and Joseph R. Wood; her husband Tommy; and her siblings, Doris E. Vaughn, Billy Joe Vaughn, Joseph Rudolph Wood II and Mack Edwin Wood.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Phillips (Alan) and Melanie Wheeler (Kent); her sister Carolyn Wood; her sister-in-law Nancy Carlton; and her friends, Sheryl D., Shirley H. and Sue. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
