He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Smith and Elizabeth Smith; his son Arthur Francis Smith III; and his sisters, Elizabeth Casey (Betty) and Claire Tierney.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Smith of Arlington, Texas; his children, Timothy Smith (Laura) of Arlington, Texas and Bonnie Govlik (Richard) of Weatherford, Texas; his grandchildren, Ryen Govlik (Ashley) of Crowley, Texas, Victoria Bolin (Brandon) of Aubrey, Texas, Trenton Govlik (Syvanna) of Weatherford, Texas and Bradley Smith (Kenzie) of Burleson, Texas; and his sister Theresa Sadule (Terry). He is also survived by many sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
