He was predeceased by: his parents, Fed Ard of Tucson and Etta Ard of Tucson; and his brother R. B. Ard. He is survived by: his children, Fredrick Ard (Keshia), Tracie Ard, Demetrie Brown (John Brown III) of Forth Worth, Laurene Harry (Pookie) and Sylvia Ard-Traylor; and his siblings, Louise Davis, Doris Jones, Easter Bush, Esther Marion, Joyce Darnell (Richard), Margaret Ard and Frank Ard (Bridget). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins.
