She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret Chieffalo and Lieutenant Colonel Frank Chieffalo; her spouse Major Donald Ray Thomas; her children, Donnie, Traci Thomas Whittier, Donald Ray Thomas II (Lara), David Thomas (Monica) and Chris Thomas (Molly); her grandchildren, Thomas Whittier, Zachary Whittier, Carson Whittier, John Thomas, Charles Thomas, William Thomas, Henry Thomas and Lillian Thomas; and her siblings, Joan Chieffalo Arend, Robert Chieffalo, Rodger Chieffalo (Jacqueline Prophit Chieffalo) and Russell Chieffalo.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran School to aid those students in need of scholarships.
