We announce the death of Bernice Helen Stephens of Arlington, Texas, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 93. Bernice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Drozd and Albina Drozd (Hosek) of Victoria, Texas.; her brother Leon Drozd, Sr.; and her husband Cecil Stephens. She is survived by: her family Czech; her sons, Lawrence Layne Miller of Brookston, Texas, John Jarrett Miller of Fort Worth and Kent Keith Miller of Arlington; her grandchildren, Summy Whaley of Argyle, Jarrett Miller, Jr. of Fredericksburg, Austin Miller of Austin, Kameran Miller of Granbury and Ashley Easterling of Columbus; and her brother Allan Drozd of Floresville, Texas.. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (3344 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Funeral Independence Chapel at Greenwood Mausoleum (3210 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
