She was predeceased by: her parents, B. W. Simmons and Mary Ella Simmons (Dorrough); her husband Charles Earl "Bo" Chambers; and her brothers, B. W. Simmons, Jr., Butch Simmons, Billy Simmons and Kenneth Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Stevens (James), Mike Chambers (Connie) and Mark Chambers; her siblings, Jimmy Simmons (Ellie) and Rai Harvey (Randy); and her grandchildren, Steven Chambers, Cole Chambers (Anna), Christy Kestler, Jennifer McClatchy and Melissa Black. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home (205 Broad St, Chandler, TX 75758). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
