He is survived by: his wife Carol Sawyer Boring; his sons, Don Richard Boring Jr. (Kim) and David Lance Boring (Laura); his grandchildren, Colton Boring, Brandon Boring, Josh Boring, Emily Boring and Abby Boring; his stepchildren, Cynthia Harris, Carolyn Benoit and Jefferson Tucker; and his brothers, Haskell Boring (Jodena) of Conroe and Jim Boring of Bend. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
