He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine C. Hewett; and his son Bryan Douglas Hewett. He is survived by: his daughters, Erin Hewett and Heather Hewett Clary; his son-in-law Mark Clary; his grandchildren, Cole Clary, Sydney Clary and Sawyer Clary (Dylan Clary); and his pets, Oliver, Obi, Walter, Bob Yoda, Miley and Carl.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home (1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Gardens (1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012).
