He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Olbern Moon and Bertha Verona Harper Moon; his wife Betty Jean Moon; and his brothers, Olbern Moon, W. C. Moon and Floyd Moon.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy; his son-in-law Danny Hazlewood of Frisco, Texas; his sons, Kenneth (Ruth Moon), Richard (Danelle Moon) and Michael (Vanessa Moon); his brother Preston; his sister-in-law Betty Moon of Bryans Mill; and his grandchildren, Allen Rice, Lee Stephens, Lynn Stephens, Zachary Moon, Michael Kilmer and Matthew Moon. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Center or your local hospice organization.
