He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucille Jefferson and Eural Standfield; his friends, Jimmu Wilkins, Johnny Turner, James Rose and Smith Harris; his daughters, Ellen Gross and Eugenia Fields; his wife Emogene Toms; his daughter Dr. Angelica Rollins (Mark, MD) of Westfield, Indiana; his grandchildren, Mia Smith (Sedric) of Milwaukee, Johnathan McLaurin (Jonell) of Westfield, Ellis Toms of Milwaukee, Lorene Gross, Destyni Anderson of Westfield and Anthony "Tony" Toms of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and his siblings-in-law, McElree Tyler (Lois) of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Joyce Jarrett (Byron) of Little Rock and Barbara Tyler of Carson, California. He was also cherished by twenty great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
