He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lee Johnson and Jennie Mae Williams; and his siblings, Victor (Joyce), Gary (Charlene), Juanita Weber (Bill), Norman (Mary), Joanna (Frank) and Dale.
He is survived by: his spouse Rayella Bounds Johnson; and his children, Dennis Johnson (Mary), Debra Purefoy (George), Kenneth Johnson (Liliana) and Paula Goodman (Jason). He is also survived by one of eight siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wade Funeral Home & Crematory - Arlington (4140 W Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Moore Memorial Gardens (1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012).
