He is survived by: his children, Ray Atkinson (Charlotte), Paul Atkinson (Susan) and Sherri Bielefeld (Wendell); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Elissa, Alan, Landry, Colby, Audrey, Aaron and Olivia. He is also survived by step grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
