He was predeceased by: his parents, R. L. "Jack" Godfrey and Ellen Mary Brown; his wife Patricia Ann; his siblings, Jim, Ron Godfrey and Mary Ellen Fink; his nephew Matthew Siver; his grandsons, Joshua and Dylan Godfrey; and his great grandchild Clara Felton.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Godfrey, Jack Godfrey Jr., Laurie Godfrey Leonard (Steve) and Michael Godfrey; and his grandchildren, Nick Serrano (Tatiana), Courtney Serrano Harrison (Dave), Alexandria Serrano Rasuk (Victor), Chaslyn Grace Pilarcik, Rachel Godfrey Bumpus (Kent), Meredith Godfrey Khonsari (Neema), Grace Godfrey, Lauren McReynolds Felton, Carly McReynolds and Casey Godfrey.
