He was predeceased by: his parents, Ron and Donna; and his brother Kenny. He is survived by: his wife Lisa DeVlieger; his children, Annalisa Sims (Clay), Jacquelyne Miles (Austin), Joshua DeVlieger and Isaiah DeVlieger (Laura); and his siblings, Vicky (Randy) and Roy. He is also survived by grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
