Pond) of Amarillo, Texas.; his grandchildren, Sophie Pavlas of West, Jaxton Pond of Amarillo, Texas., Presley Pond of Amarillo, Texas. and True Pond of Amarillo, Texas.; his stepsons, Augustine Sandoval (Olivia Sandoval), Gabriel DeLeon (Amairani Jimenez) and Ezequiel DeLeon; his grandchildren, Xavier Blanco, Augustine Sandoval, Noah Andrade, Nathaniel Andrade, David Andrade, Daniel Andrade and Madelyn DeLeon; his half-sister Beth Doner of Stockbridge, MA.; his friends, Kay Ellis, Brandi Ellis and Margo Gooding; and his adoptive parents, Floyd, Velma and James.
A golf professional most of his working years, James made great contributions to the Oldham County Country Club in Vega.
