He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie M. Hendrix and Myrtie M. Goodwin Hendrix; his former wife Mildred Lucille Maserang Hendrix; his children, Ricky Ernest Hendrix and Deborah Mayher; and his sister Frances Fox (J. P.).
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Hendrix; his son Daniel R Hendrix (Jane); and his grandchildren, R. D. Hendrix, J. Billings, A. J. Billings, Ashley Creamer (William) and Blake Hendrix. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
