He was predeceased by: his father Gene Skipper; his brother Justin Skipper; and his stepfather Roger McDonald. He is survived by: his mother Kathy Skipper; his wife Lisa Gullick Skipper; his sons, Jackson Skipper and Jacob Skipper; his brother Jason Skipper (Jennifer Smith); and his half-brother Michael Elliot.
