Bida, Melinda Fisher and Lizanne Gierczak; her nieces and nephews, Brooke Bida Deering, Mallory Bida Barakat, Kelly Fisher Davis, Jenny Gierczak Chu, Todd Fisher, Kevin Fisher and Ross Gierczak; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Danielle Deering, Mayah Barakat, Layla Barakat, Alyssa Jane Fisher, Abigail Davis, Makenzie Davis, Adeline Chu, Kayla Gierczak, Michael Barakat, A. J. Barakat, Tristan Davis, Everett Chu and Declan Gierczak. She is also survived by her family, friends.

“We first met Janet right around Labor Day of 2015. We were moving into the house across the street. This was a cross country corporate move for our family, so we had a full semi. Janet wandered over, toothbrush in hand, and called out, "Hello in there," into the empty truck. She liked the echo. We lived there for 9 years. Had many wonderful conversations about all sorts of things. She was kind of a great aunt to our grandson. We even borrowed sugar and eggs sometimes. We will miss her.”
