She was predeceased by: her parents, Laymon Oliver Hightower and Vera Virginia Groseclose (Groseclose). She is survived by: her husband Aubrey Whitehead of Arlington; her daughters, Ginger Lamber (Trey) of Childress and Stephanie MacDonald (Mike) of Gunter; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wyatt (Cade) of Tell and Jacob Renteria of Childress; her great grandchildren, Saylor Wyatt, Olivia Wyatt, Iris Wyatt and Lily Wyatt; and her brother Tommy Hightower (Becky) of Childress.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (1606 Ave I NW, Childress, TX 79201).
