Ortega, Joselyn Ortega and Theresa Peel; and his grandchildren, Janelle Arevalo, Liliana Arevalo, Leslie Arevalo, Sophia Arevalo, Nathan Peel and Natalie Peel. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Grand Prairie Funeral Home Chapel (733 Dalworth St, Grand Prairie, TX 75050). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Baptist Church (1308 W Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
