With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Henry Atchley of Arlington, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2026 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, EJ Atchley and Betty Atchley; and his son Mac Atchley (McKinley). He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Atchley; his sons, John Atchley (Angela) and Doug Dixon; his siblings, Jimmy Atchley (Amber) of Parks and MariLyn Himes; his grandchildren, Zack Young, McKinley Atchley, Chris Murry, Kayleigh Murry and Gracie Cranford; and his great grandchildren, Shiloh Murry and Daniel Murry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in John's name to Covenant House.
