Susan Sinclair wrote a sympathy message

“Oh Sandra, my heart just breaks for you. He was such a great guy. I don’t say that about a lot of guys. But he was a great man. I’ll never forget one time at church at the back of the sanctuary before service started, you were going to leave him to go somewhere else while he stayed there at the back of the church and he leaned over and gave you a kiss. I said oh! I’m so jealous! And John then turned around and planted one right on my lips for me too! I will never forget that.”
