He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Medlock and Vearlean Medlock; and his siblings, Robert Earl Medlock, George Medlock Jr. and Maudie Irene Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Elvia Tafolla Madrigal; his children, Johnny (Claudette), Jamie, Patrick, Timothy (Nina), Jonathan, Mark and Ashley; his grandchildren, Kirra, Nathan, Jocelyn, Luciano, Joseph and Aliyah; and his siblings, Paul "Bud", Dorothy, Barbara, Georgia, Howard (Lisa), Hubert (Mary) and Marilyn (Craig). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.
