She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Hranitzky and Annie Mladenka Hranitzky; her husband Daniel Pekar; her son Warren Pekar; her siblings, Buddy, Clifton Hranitzky (Cecilia) and Virginia Hranitzky Hirsch (Raymond); and her sister-in-law Embrene Hranitzky.
She is survived by: her son Gary Pekar (Terri); her grandchildren, Jared, Lauren Pekar, Shawna Thomas (Rob) and Gregg Pekar (Rebecca); her great grandchildren, Lauren, Madison, Aaron Thomas, Paige and Avery Pekar; and her brother Walter Hranitzky. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
