She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie Gillespie and Richard Gillespie; and her grandmother Bertha Gillespie. She is survived by: her sister Midgie (Norma Faye Barker); her close friend Sally; her brother George Ansen Quick; her children, Lisa Quick, Steven Richard Quick of Hurst, TX and Robin Allen Quick of Arlington, TX; and her granddaughter Alexandra Jin Quick of Hurst, TX.. She is also survived by the oldest of four sisters and grew up on her family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home - Hurst (1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053).
