Mary Lou Passino – Hudzina – Cummings

Mary Lou Cummings was born on 08/29/1939 in Syracuse, New York to Marjorie Revette Passino and Richard Jacob Passino. She left for her new journey on 03 January 2021.

Mary Lou was predeceased by her parents, her brother Jacob Richard Passino and her sister Joyce Ann Passino all from New York State. Children, Eddie Stanley Hudzina, Marjorie Eva Cummings, Bernie Newton Cummings, II and three babies.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years and 2 months Bernie Newton Cummings of Arlington, Tx.; Sister-in-law, Weetau Sharon Renfrow of Woodville Tx.; Brother-in-law, John Lynn Cummings of Dallas, Tx.; eldest son, Edward James Hudzina of Arlington, Tx; youngest son, John Jacob Cummings of Aberdeen, Wa. and grandson, Nicholas Dreaux Cummings of Richardson, Tx. as well as numerous nieces and nephews from Syracuse and surrounding areas, Las Vegas, Nv., Jacksonville, Fl., Woodville, Tx. and Dallas/Fort Worth, Tx. and of course many friends.

Mary Lou loved to people watch and never met a stranger. She loved to travel with her husband and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. During time stationed in Japan with her husband and children, she was a member and President of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, a member of the NCO Wives Club and participated in several bowling leagues. Later when stationed at Offutt Air force Base, Bellevue, Ne. she was a member of the woman’s sorority, Beta Sigma Phi.

A special thank you to her two favorite nurses at Town Hall Estates Nursing Center, Josephine and Jackie. You will never know how much she appreciated and cared for the both of you. Thank you for all you did for mom.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Agape Metropolitan Community Church, Fort Worth, Tx.
