He is survived by: his children, DeAndre Hill, Denise Gilstrap, Modesto Gilstrap, Jr. and Warren Gilstrap; and his siblings, Ila Christine Stephens, Richard Gilstrap and Billy Gilstrap. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and host of nieces, nephews.
