She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest "Sam" Hart and Kathryn Hart (Folkreth); her husband Bob J. Overholser; her grandson Trent Deering; and her brother Ronald Dean Hart.

She is survived by: her daughters, Julie (Billy Deering) and Jennifer (Charles Pool); and her grandchildren, Ashley Deering, Brent Deering and Alex Pool.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 in Rheta's memory.
