She was predeceased by: her husbands, Wyndall Johnson and Mac McKee; her children, Scott Johnson and Janis Mattson; her parents, Homer Witzig and Jennie Witzig; and her siblings, James, Maxwell, Bette, Evelyn, Lucille and Natalie.
She is survived by: her sister Tulie Schumacher; and her children, Laughren Skye, Kim Sartain, Sandy Morelan and Edwin McKee.
A dedicated member of the Arlington Women's Club, Suburban Women's Club, Friends & Foundation of the Arlington Public Library, and the Arlington Citizens Police Academy, Ruth was actively involved in various local organizations.
