He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Podsednik and Annie Podsednik (Vrba); and his siblings, Edward, Edmund, Frank, Norbert "Jim" Podsednik, Agnes Straten, Christine Pratka, Sister Marie Podsednik, Mary Dulock, Bennie Mae Pustejovsky and Helen Hrabal.

He is survived by: his wife Millie Ann Podsednik of Arlington; his children, Terri Podsednik of Arlington, Darrell Podsednik of Arlington, Lana Podsednik of Arlington, Karen Lee (Shane) of Gainesville, Patricia Woody (Scott) of Mansfield and Jason Podsednik of Napa, CA.; and his grandchildren, Monica Flinn, Thomas Flinn, Kevin Flinn (Stephanie), Hannah Podsednik, Gage Lee, Payne Lee, Kate Woody and Jenna Woody. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Martin's Cemetery Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
