He was predeceased by: his father Frederick Schmidt. He is survived by: his mother Charlene Strotman Schmidt Jarman; his siblings, Theresa Gamboa (Nicholas), Mark Schmidt (Lebra) and Stephen Schmidt (Kelly); his nieces, Alexandra, Samantha Gamboa, Mary Margaret Schmidt and Brittney Dorough (Wes); and his nephew Charles Schmidt (Amy). He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
