He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Willis Jr. and Zana Lorraine Timms. He is survived by: his wife Brandy Willis; his sons, Torin Dequan Willis Jr. and Malcolm Jakobi Willis; his siblings, Lashundi Flournoy (Michael), Jasmine Gay and Robert Willis (Tomika); and his mother-in-law Sheila Herd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
