With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wade Watkins of Arlington, Texas, born in Lufkin, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 47. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Evelyn Claiborne, Allie and Richard Watkins. He is survived by: his parents, Rick Watkins and Selena Watkins of Lufkin; his wife Ashley McClure Watkins of Arlington; his children, Brayden and Josie; his sister Wendy Bazemore (Watkins); his brother-in-law Ty of Waxahachie; his mother-in-law Sharon McClure (Fred Hendricks) of Kerrville; his siblings-in-law, Heather McClure of Dallas, Meredith Bland (McClure) of Fulshear, Grant McClure (Stacy) and Dane Cofer (Dallas); and his nieces and nephews, Charlie Bland, Slade, Collin Carter, TJ Cofer, David, Marshall McClure, Caroline, Campbell Bland, Madeline, Vivian Cofer, Madison Bazemore and ShyAnne Phillips. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
