He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bastable; his children, Rae Johannes (Brian) and Scott; his stepchildren, Krista Grant (Micah) and Brent Leyerle; his grandchildren, Randal Burkett, Kristen Schrimpf (Seth), Courtney Rasco (Morgan), Noah Grant and Ruthie Grant; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Burkett, Shelby Michaud, Preston Schrimpf, Mason Rasco and Caden Rasco.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Trinity Methodist Church (1200 W Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, TX 76013).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Stephen Ministry at Trinity Methodist Church in Arlington, honoring the ministry he faithfully served.
