It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winnie Pitmon of Arlington, Texas, born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Pitmon; her sons, Roger Davenport and Wes Davenport; her sons-in-law, Charles Jones and William Armstrong; and her sisters, Peggy Woody and Flora Jo Powell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Cayton (Mark), Detra Jones and Vickie Armstrong; her grandchildren, Brad Armstrong, Joel Armstrong, Heather Taylor, James Halza, Nathan Davenport, Courtney Halza, Lisa Breeds, David Cayton and Keith Cayton; and her siblings, Fay DeWitt, Kay Newport, Jim Miller and Jan Moore. She is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren.
Winnie's family has requested in lieu of flowers, that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 8900 John W, Carpenter Fwy, Dallas, TX.
