He is survived by: his children, Alma Melendez, Ana Bosquez, Adriana Bosquez-Panalez, Adalberto Bosquez, Abelardo Bosquez, Juan Bosquez, Jr. and Armando Bosquez; and his siblings, Daniel Bosquez and Adelaida Cruz. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
