He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalee Lawrence and A. L. Lawrence; and his siblings, Charles, Jerry, Lloyd and Gwendolyn Speck.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Lawrence; his son Tim Lawrence (Denise) of Lubbock; his grandchildren, David Foil of Lubbock, Randy Foil (Shelby) of Abilene and Jonie Criswell (Brandon) of Aspermont; and his brother Dwayne Lawrence (Barbara) of Aspermont. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
